It was a fine day today. So early this morning we decided to go to the wood of ginkgoes which were several hundreds of years. I cannot confine peter and catherine at home all the time and they would like to get close to the nature. In fact the wood is located in the northwest of the city, not far from my home. We got everything ready and drove there after lunch. When we nearly approached the wood, the traffic became heavy. All the vehicles moved slowly like the snails. There were cars parking on both sides of the street. The entrance of the wood was crowded with people and various cars. It was impossible to enter the woods. The beautiful scenery has attracted too many people visiting the wood. In addition it's weekends and most citizens like hanging out. In the end we were unable to enter the wood. On the way home I thought if it was really necessary to purchase a car. There are traffic jams every day and it's faster if traveling by bike or battery bike within the city. Cars need petroleum to run, which is unlike water and costs money. Every year a large sum of money is spent on the maintainment as well. There will more cars and the traffic will be busier. Why not give up driving and take public transportation more?
